The F Student
Xyla Turner
Publication date: January 10th 2017
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult

Cash just wanted to graduate but after his father cut him for screwing up in school, he had no more money and only one semester left. Three opportunities presented themselves and Cash accepted all of them.
One would require him to work with the sassy TA;

The second was degrading;

And the third would end any chance of graduating if he was ever caught.

Find out what happens when this F student applies himself in more ways than one.

Stay tuned for The D Student, The C Student, The B Student and The A Student.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a free copy of The F Student provided by Xpresso Book Tours and the author! Thank you for the reviewing opportunity!

Cassius is the kind of student that could excel his studies without studying much, unfortunately, his brother died and his grades plummetted and he became an F student. To make matters worst, his father cut him off his money and he found himself struggling to pay off a hefty debt. A phone call from a financial aid seemed to be the only hope, but Regina wanted something in return, something that even make Cassius question his moralities.

When I first read the blurb, I immediately jumped at the reviewing opportunity because this oozes Beautiful Disaster and I was hoping for a story like Travis Maddox and Abby Abernathy for a long time now. The cover was promising and the book was off to such a great start, however the execution was short of what I expected. I love the direction of where the story is heading, the characters were great and the romance was more of a slow burn, I actually liked Cash for standing firm with his beliefs, but there were some scenes that just made me cringe.

Overall, a great story with wonderful characters, and yet it was also a short story with lots of potential left unexplored.
